Spring Showdown 2008 was the first CAW wrestling click-per-view event of its name produced by SCAW Superstars of CAW. It took place on May 9, 2008 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Nine matches were contested, with one in the pre show. Guile and Captain America wrestled for the SCAW Championship in the main event.

Freakazoid, Shaquille O'Neal & The Thing defeated Billy Madison, David Beckham & Kobe Bryant in a 3 on 3 Tornado Tag Team Match. Freakazoid pinned Beckham with a Northern Lights Suplex.

Main Event[]
Captain America pinned Guile after a Frog Splash to win the SCAW Championship. He then revealed that he was Spider-Man in disguise and that he is the leader of the NoDQ World Order. This was made possible because Mr. Clean had gifted his Money in the Bank briefcase to Spider-Man, turning the match into a Triple Threat at the last minute.

- "Talkin' Tough with Mr. T guest starred Michael Jordan but John Cena interrupted so they attacked him. Kobe Bryant & David Beckham attacked them in turn. This is still the only time in SCAW history where a WWE superstar has had an appearance of any kind.
