The SCAW Zero-One Championship is a CAW wrestling championship created and promoted by SCAW.
History
The championship was created and debuted on August 30, 2007, at SCAW Superstar Clash 2. Ryu Hayabusa defeated Green Lantern, Cyclops and Nacho in a Ladder match to be crowned the inaugural champion.
Specialty matches
The Zero-One Division has multiple styles of match types used to showcase the talent within the division and to defend the Zero-One Championship in more marketable matches. Two of the matches used in SCAW are the Ultimate Zero-One match and the Zero-One Invitational. The Ultimate Zero-One match is basically a 6-Man Ladder Match with the objective being to retrieve the Zero-One championship suspended above the ring. This match was an SCAW staple from 2008 until 2012. It then went into hiatus until it was given a soft revival in 2017. The Zero-One Invitational was held only once at Blood, Sweat and Tears 8. Like the Match of Destiny, two wrestlers start the Match with a new competitor entering in timed intervals. Eliminations occur by pinfall or submission.
Designs
The championship was remodeled after Blood, Sweat and Tears VII. It came to resemble the WCW Television Championship but chromed and with it's now signature sky blue strap. It was remodeled again after The Great American Smash 2018, then again after Blood, Sweat and Tears XI.
Reigns
Jin Kazama's second reign is the longest at 574 days while Gladiator's first reign was the shortest at 11 days. The title has been vacated twice in it's history
