The Great American Smash is a CAW wrestling click-per-view (CPV) event, produced by CAW wrestling promotion SCAW.
History
2010's
The Great American Smash 2010 took place on February 20, 2010 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Spider-Man and Iron Man wrestled for both the SCAW Championship and the SCAW Internet Championship in the main event.
The Great American Smash 2011 took place on July 8, 2011 at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. In the main event, Spider-Man won the SCAW Championship in a Six-Pack Elimination Challenge only to lose it through controversial means first to Homer Simpson and then Guile.
The Great American Smash 2012 took place on May 20, 2013 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The Joker and Robin wrestled for the SCAW Championship in an I Quit Match in the main event.
The Great American Smash 2013 took place on September 15, 2013 at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the main event, The Prince of Persia defeated Homer Simpson to retain the SCAW Championship only to lose it to Santa Claus when he cashed in Money in the Bank.
The Great American Smash 2014 took place on August 16, 2014 at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Gladiator and the returning Captain America wrestled in the main event.
The Great American Smash 2016 took place from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Hellboy, The Prince of Persia and The Gladiator wrestled in a Triple Threat match for the SCAW Championship at the main event.
