The Great American Smash 2016 was the 59th CPV mega event produced by SCAW. It is the 6th in the chronology. It took place from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky on January 3, 2016 (originally December 2015).
The card was comprised of nine matches (including one on the Preshow). Hellboy, The Prince of Persia and Gladiator wrestled for the SCAW Championship in a Triple Threat match at the main event. The winner will also become the leader of the Axis Powers.

Preshow[]
The 80's Express (He-Man & Optimus Prime) wrestled against Ivan Drago & Piccolo in a tag team match. Optimus Prime pinned Piccolo after the Prime Line.
Jean-Luc Picard insulted the new Star Wars movie and was attacked by Anakin.
Preliminary matches[]
Angry Video Game Nerd defended the SCAW Hardcore Championship against his mystery opponent Solid Snake. AVGN pinned Solid Snake after the Rolling Rock to retain the Hardcore Championship.
Jill Valentine pinned Amy Lee to retain the SCAW Women's Championship after hitting her with the championship.
Captain Marvel pinned Santa Claus after hitting him with the steel steps followed by the Marvelocity.
A video package for Deadpool was shown.
Superman challenged Guile but he refused as he was not at the event.
Drax the Destroyer pinned Red Hood after the Destroyer Bomb.
King and Dante wrestled for the SCAW Internet Championship in a Ladder Match. King slipped from a ladder due to an injured leg. Dante grabbed the Internet Championship to win it for the second time.
Captain America was interviewed by Kevin Smith.
Spider-Man & Homer Simpson defended the SCAW Tag Team Championship against Jack Sparrow & Mr. Clean. Spider-Man pinned Jack Sparrow after the Five Star Spider Splash to retain the Tag Team Championship.
Bruce Wayne told Kevin Smith about E-Extravaganza 2016. The first confirmed match is a Triple Threat involving AVGN, Dante and Jin Kazama. The fans must vote on whether the Hardcore, Internet or SCAW Zero-One Championship will be defended.
Captain America made The Joker submit with the Ankle Lock. The Joker made Captain America tap out to his own Ankle Lock in retaliation.
Main event[]
Hellboy, The Prince of Persia and Gladiator wrestled for the SCAW Championship in a Triple Threat match. The winner will also become the leader of the Axis Powers. The Prince of Persia was teleported out of the match by Harry Potter. Albert Wesker came to help Gladiator but he brawled with Brian Urlacher. Gladiator was attacked by Ichigo Kurosaki. Hellboy pinned Gladiator after the Doomstone Piledriver to retain the SCAW Championship.
