Ascendance 2010 was the 23rd cpv mega event produced by SCAW. It was the second in the chronology. It took place on August 22, 2010 from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The card was comprised of eleven matches (including one on the Preshow). Green Lantern and Homer Simpson wrestled for the SCAW Championship at the main event.

Superman and Robin wrestled in a 2010 SCAW Tournament quarterfinals match. Robin pinned Superman after the Boy Wonder Slam.
Captain America and Edward Elric wrestled in a 2010 SCAW Tournament quarterfinals match. Elric pinned Captain America after the Sudden Alchemy.
Spider-Man and He-Man wrestled in a 2010 SCAW Tournament quarterfinals match. Spider-Man pinned He-Man after the Five Star Spider Splash.
Santa Claus and The Prince of Persia wrestled in a 2010 SCAW Tournament quarterfinals match. The Prince of Persia pinned Santa Claus after the Greetings from Persia. Santa Claus was attacked by the "Holy Straight Edge Society; composed of Lord And Savior, Jay, Silent Bob, Vin Diesel, & Ice Cube.
Homer Simpson was interviewed by Gene Simmons.
Shaquille O'Neal, Jack Sparrow, Yusuke Urameshi, Freakazoid, The Joker and Optimus Prime wrestled in a 6-Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal. The winner and the partner of his choice will challenge for the SCAW Tag Team Championship at Blood, Sweat & Tears IV. LeBron James complained that he was not included so he was thrown out by Shaq. Order of eliminations:
- Yusuke and Freakazoid eliminated The Joker.
- Yusuke and Optimus Prime eliminated Freakazoid.
- Yusuke and Optimus Prime eliminated Shaq.
- Optimus Prime and Jack Sparrow eliminated Yusuke.
- Jack Sparrow last eliminated Optimus Prime to win.
Robin and Edward Elric wrestled in a 2010 SCAW Tournament Semifinals Match. Robin made Elric submit with the Crossface.
Inuyasha was found assaulted backstage by White Ranger.
Spider-Man and The Prince of Persia wrestled in a 2010 SCAW Tournament semifinals match. Spider-Man pinned The Prince of Persia after the Five Star Spider Splash.
Anakin pinned Harry Potter after the Death Star Driver. Among other tricks, Potter transformed and wrestled as Darth Vader.
Ghost Rider, Guile & Captain America brawled backstage with Animation Evolution members Edward Elric, Yusuke, & Kazuma Kuwabara.
The Zero-One champion Gladiator was attacked by the debuting Doctor Doom.
Iron Man was interviewed by Fred Durst.
Robin and Spider-Man wrestled in the 2010 SCAW Tournament Finals match. The winner will challenge for the SCAW Championship at Blood, Sweat & Tears IV. Spider-Man pinned Robin with a victory roll.
