The Great American Smash 2012 was the 36th cpv mega event produced by SCAW. It is the third in the chronology. It took place on May 20, 2012 from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
The card was comprised of eight matches (including one on the Preshow). The Joker and Robin wrestled for the SCAW Championship in an I Quit match at the main event.

Lara Croft pinned Avril Lavigne after the Tomb Raider Drop to retain the SCAW Women's Championship.

Jack Sparrow pinned Dante after hitting him with the SCAW Zero-One Championship to retain.
Edward Elric pinned Harry Potter after the Sudden Alchemy to retain the SCAW Internet Championship. Potter was interviewed before this match by Kent Brockman..
Iron Man, Thor & The Hulk wrestled against the Fearsome 4 members Doctor Doom, M. Bison & Magneto in a 3-on-3 Tag Team Match. The Hulk pinned M. Bison after a double team wheelbarrow slam with Thor. The Avengers continued their attack after the match.
Superman and Batman wrestled in a 3 Stages of Hell Match. First stage was a Singles Match. Batman Jackknife pinned Superman. Second stage was a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Superman pinned Batman after an S-5 through the announce table. Third stage was Ladder Match for an SCAW Championship #1 contenders contract. Batman hit Superman with the Bat Breaker then grabbed the contract to win.
The Tag Team champions The Prince of Persia & Gladiator came out to brag.
Spider-Man pinned Chuck Norris after the Five Star Spider Splash.
Lance Burton appeared while wearing the DWA Championship and announced that he's quitting SCAW due to the lack of opportunities available to him so he was thrown out by Homer Simpson.
Captain America pinned Ichigo Kurosaki after the All American Splash.
Main event[]
The Joker and Robin wrestled for the SCAW Championship in an I Quit match. The Joker defeated Robin to retain the SCAW Championship after Robin was attacked and forced to quit by Anakin.
